POOL SEASON END CLOSING

Closing services will protect your pool from damage due to freezing water and keep it as clean as possible for the next season.

Look for an email coming at the end of August introducing our NEW Winter Maintenance program!
Maintaining your swimming pool during the winter will prevent extra cleaning when it comes time to open the swimming pool for the summer, as well as potential damage to the cover.

Book Swimming Pool Closing Service Sarnia

Pool Closings Include:

  • drain pool four inches below the skimmer
  • remove water from plumbing, add antifreeze, and plug lines
  • winterize equipment
  • install winter cover
  • remove hardware (diving board, ladder, light, etc.)
  • small parts from the pool will be stored in the skimmer basket
  • drain plugs from the equipment pad will be left in the pump basket
  • larger items will be left off to the side on the pool deck

Optional Winter Services (not included in standard pool closing):

  • Waterbalance – this will be done 48 – 72 hours prior to your booked closing date. This is important to have your water balanced (calcium & alkalinity) before pool is closed to increase the longevity of your liner.

  • Leaf Removal and Vacuuming – one time pool cleaning this will be done the day of your booked closing date. This includes both scooping leaves and vacuuming pool to remove all debris. If you close your pool with leaves, cloudy and debris in your pool water, it will most certainly, be green at opening time and is much more expensive/time consuming to rectify in the spring after opening.
