New Inground Pool

  • requires ample space in yard
  • usually requires a relatively flat yard
  • requires excavation (dig)
  • requires 8ft or more access to back yard
  • if you are looking for a more permanent solution
  • if you want a deep end
  • has the nicest landscaping and decor options
  • has largest number of material types (Steel, Polymer, Fiberglass)
  • has largest number of upgrade options for luxury
  • has largest number of shapes and size options
  • usually requires a higher budget
  • installed by professional
  • can have an attached spill over spa
  • most attractive pool type option
  • most expensive pool option of the three
New Semi Inground Pool

  • can be installed fully above ground, partially in ground or fully in the ground.
  • typically has no deep end
  • typically is a deeper shallow end than an inground (3ft vs 4ft) but 4ft all around
  • works well with sloped or hilly back yards.
  • still has similar upgrade options as an inground minus the slide and diving board
  • still offers a variety of shapes and sizes but not nearly as many as an inground
  • less costly than an inground but more than an above ground pool
  • Still offers a wide verity of landscape options
  • installed by professional
  • Can have an attached spill over spa (if installed fully in the ground)
New Above Ground Pools

  • Installed fully above the ground
  • requires relatively flat yard
  • Good if you are looking for a temporary solution that can be easily removed later
  • no deep end
  • least amount of upgrade options
  • usually only oval or round
  • Fastest install time
  • comes in a kit and can be self installed if required
  • Less upgrade options
  • Easily the least expensive option
